Greensox keep their title

Manchester Softball leaders Greensox showed their determination to keep hold of their coveted champions title with an emphatic 20-5 win over Camels to keep their impressive 8/8 record in the division.

As Lions were without a game Mavericks moved clear into second place with another comfortable 22-3 cruise over Phoenix. The tightest game of the day in the division saw Speeders edge home by 16-15 over Mets.

It’s tighter at the top of division two with just two point separating the top three teams with Outlaws moving clear with a 20-8 gobbling up of the Piranhas although they went down 12-4 to Thunder in the night’s second game.

The result leaves Thunder neck and neck with More Lions in second place.

MetsAAA continue to carry all before them in division three and their latest 22-4 vanquishing of OutlawsII keeps them five points clear of Clangers with the rest of the division well adrift of the top two.
