SHARKS will play two friendly matches at Edgeley Park before the new Guinness Premiership season begins on September 7.

Following their pre-season trip to France next week, when Sharks will take on Perpignan and Montpellier, the team will play a double-header home match - the Jets against Sedgley Tigers (6.30pm) and Sharks against Leeds Carnegie (8pm), on August 22.

Sharks’ final warm-up game will be against Lyon on August 28 (7.45pm).

As the start of the season draws closer, season ticket sales are increasing as supporters look to secure their seat for 2008/09.

Sharks’ first home league game is against Saracens on September 12, followed by Gloucester and, the biggest test of all, against Munster in October.

Sale will play current Guinness Premiership Champions, London Wasps, on Boxing Day, which will certainly be a sell-out.

Purchasing a season ticket guarantees fans a seat for this game as well as 10 other Premiership matches, three Heineken Cup games, two EDF Energy Cup games and two pre-season friendlies by becoming a season ticket holder.

Prices start from £149 for adults (£8.76 per game) and £59 for children (£3.47 per game).

SALE Sharks are giving fixture posters out free of charge to the team’s supporters. Fans can collect a poster from the main reception or the club shop at Edgeley Park. Copies will also be available at the pre-season friendly games on August 22 and 28.
