Youths retain title

OLD Stretfordians U16s football team have retained the Timperley & District Under-16s Division One title.
It was a remarkable achievement for the team (pictured), who have only conceded eight goals throughout their league campaign.
The win also secures a cup double after they beat Gregorians 3-1 in the Manchester County FA Youth Cup.
Proud parent Jane Barrett said it was a thrilling game in which the team's travelling army of supporters cheered them on.
