CHILLING images of an armed raid on a bookmakers have been released in a bid to catch the vicious gang.

The CCTV footage shows three men inside the Coral shop at Davyhulme Circle, Trafford.

They can be seen waving a spanner and screwdriver at terrified staff before forcing them to kneel on the floor.

Two then vault the counter and demand money.

Police say cash and mobile phones were taken by the men, who fled on foot.

The gang were all white and wore dark clothing and balaclavas in the robbery.

Det Con Jack Chadwick, from Trafford CID, said: “The staff, who were simply trying to earn an honest wage, had a terrifying end to their working day and we are doing all we can to ensure the thugs responsible for that are caught.

"I'd ask people to take a good look at these pictures and see if they recognise any of the offenders, if so please contact me."
