Bookies' staff terrorised

STAFF were threatened with a handgun during an armed robbery at a Baguley bookmakers.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 4.50pm at I Lewis, Hall Lane, on Monday, November 5.
The offender went into the store armed with a handgun and threatened staff while demanding cash.
He went over to the cashier window and passed a bag to the worker demanding for it be filled, before leaving the store and turning right towards Wythenshawe Park. No one was hurt during the incident.
The offender is described as black, aged 25 to 30 years old, 5ft 8in tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black jacket.
