Meet the prom queens

LEVENSHULME High School for Girls in ]Manchester held a leavers’ prom for the year 11 pupils.
The prom committee, including ten pupils aged 16, and three teachers, decked-out the Errwood Road school’s hall in black, silver and pink.
And on the night itself, the 70 pupils and staff enjoyed a buffet and chocolate fountain. And then the party got into full swing as a singer and MC provided entertainment, along with a DJ who played dance and RnB tunes.
PE teacher Rachael Blundell, who was one of the organisers, said: "They really enjoyed it - all the girls said they had a fantastic time.
"It was a great way to round off the school year and we wish them all well for the future."
