Mother's appeal over shot son

Paul Britton
22/ 7/2008

THE heartbroken mum of a promising young footballer shot dead in a takeaway has made a direct appeal to the killer's mother to shop her son.

Anne McCollin, 52, appealed to the gunman's parents to `search their consciences' and come forward.

Her moving plea came six months after Halton McCollin, 20, was gunned down at the China Garden takeaway in Stretford.

It takes time to build something, and nothing to destroy it.Is there no one who knows who did it? They need to come out and say who is the one if not the same thing will happen to them by time.

well said Jim. hopefully the killer's mum will be brave enough to come forward (if she knows what he's done).

What a waste of good young man.

The coward that carried out this brutal killing will not come forward, why because he is simply a coward.
