Stunning show in style stakes

LADIES heading to this year's Cheshire Show had an added reason to dress to impress - with organisers hosting a style contest for the first time.
The dress code remained firmly country casual though, with Ugg and Dubarry boots the preferred shoes of choice for ladies conscious of long walks across the extensive showground at Tabley.
Epitomising country chic was Alexandra Wheelhouse in Ralph Lauren polo togs and Dubarry boots.
And she also had the accessory of the day - her cute dog Angus.
High heels
Some style-conscious ladies did make the bold choice of high heels for the event though - including student Rebecca Martin from Pendlebury. She said: "Coming to the show was a good reason to dress up for the day."
And it was the elegant skirt-suit look of Karol Roberts, wife of bread magnate Mike of Roberts Bakery, that was deemed a cut above for the inaugural Best Dressed Lady contest.
Mum-of-three Karol said: "I didn't even know there was a style contest on, to be honest. I'm thrilled to have won."
She won a spin in an Alfa Romeo Spider for the weekend from Knutsford's Mangoletsi dealership.
