EVERY week we're out on the style scene scouting out you fabulous fashionistas. This week Diary Editor Dianne Bourne caught up with Sarah Binns, sales and education executive for make-up brand Bobbi Brown, 39, from Frodsham to find out about her glam party look.

How would you describe your style?

I think I'm very individual and I like to buy my clothes from a range of different places. In the daytime I have to be very smart and professional and outside of work I'm casual in the day and then in the evening I really like to dress up.

Where did you buy tonight's outfit and how much did it cost?

Dress: Emma Somerset, £280

Hat: Monsoon at Cheshire Oaks outlet mall, £15

Who is your style icon?

I quite like the way Sienna Miller dresses but to be honest I take inspiration from all different things that different people wear.

Name your favourite shops.

Zara, Topshop, Whistles and I love going into TK Maxx because you can always find some great bargains in there.

What's your best ever buy?

People always comment on a Zara shirt that I wear for work. It has a big bow on it and I bought it a couple of years ago now, but whenever I wear it people always ask if they can still buy it. It's one of my favourites - it's one of those shirts that looks good with jeans or with trousers.

What's your biggest fashion mistake?

I bought one of those dresses that are quite tight, like a tube dress, and it accentuated my hips and actually made me look a lot heavier on the bottom half.

It was a disastrous look! So probably that and a puffball skirt I wore once.

How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?

About £300, but it's not on one big item, it's on a range of things.

What item of clothing can't you live without?

Black, high-waisted wide-leg trousers - I've got three pairs. They are my lifesaver everyday for work.
