Healing animal magic

Simon Donohue
21/ 8/2008

THE corporate world sunk its claws so deep into Jean Davies's psyche that her health and happiness had seriously started to deteriorate.

"I was never medically diagnosed," she says, "but I'm convinced that I was suffering from the symptoms some people describe as ME - or yuppie flu."

Being a cat lover I read with interest this article, that is one beautiful looking cat but something I saw in the article which I have to question quote "For the uninitiated, reiki is a spiritual practice similar to the laying on of hands, in which practitioners claim to channel `healing energy' from the atmosphere, through their palms, and into the subject" - can I just say that the spiritism/spiritual practise of Reike - is NOT similar to the laying on of hands, in the bible it says that in deuteronomy 18v 10 those who practise witchcraft 18 v 11 that one who practises spiritulism in v 12 it saysthese (and the other things listed there are an abomination to the lord), in the Baptist/christian faiths we believe that healing is a gift from GOD to be imparted for the benefit of Gods kingdom, those in need o a healing touch, we believe that this comes from God - the healing is of and from God and without God there is no healing - we do not believe that we 'draw' our divinely loaned resources - from the atmosphere, we believe that IT IS GOD and God alone - he gives and can take as he wishes. As a Christian I would strongly recommend this woman has an exorcism repents of her dealings in the occult and receives Gods healing touch, love restoration and forgiveness. In these new age days it is so easy for people to follow the band wagon thinking it is the right one. We are lucky to live in a western world where free will is so prevailant, so people choose to do as they will, I know many will disagree with the point of view - but others may agree.
