Lanigan's legends
22/12/2006
TONY Lanigan says Wayne Rooney's rating as 11th in the 50 best
United players of all time is an "insult to legends" (Metro News,
December 15).
Many who voted for Wayne will have never seen the likes of Foulkes,
Viollet and Crerand play, so it is always likely that current
players will feature highly.
Does Tony Lanigan believe you should only vote for individual
players who featured in a successful era?
