Wildlife in gardens seems to be disappearing

28/11/2008

A FEW weeks ago our gardens were full of birds and squirrels. Suddenly they have all gone!

The trees had been full of small birds feeding on the fat balls and wild bird food.

The squirrels were running along the fences looking for peanuts. Pigeons would wait in the same tree for months, each morning waiting to be fed.

It was a pleasure to watch them with the doves and blackbirds, happily feeding.

Now any food left out remains there. All the small birds have gone – even the robins.

The gardens here are completely void of any wildlife, has anyone an answer?
