CLOCKING ON: Horologist Steve Taylor at work
advertisement
A timely reminder that it’s not all gloomy
21/11/2008
IT was nice to read the story of clock repairer Steve Taylor in last week’s Metro News (Nov 14).
It seems barely a day goes by at the moment without hearing in the news of more job losses and economic woes.
As such it was good to hear from someone who had suffered being made redundant, but had since gone on to find another job they love, which they have made a success of.
It’s good news success stories like these which bring a bit of cheer amid the doom and gloom of the credit crunch.
