Fed-up at binmen leaving bin behind

LAST Thursday my dustbin was not emptied, even though the lid was closed and the bin was not heavy to move.

I phoned the relevant management service at the town hall and told them my story adding that myself and only one other neighbour cleaned the alleyway behind our houses as, in the eight years that I have lived here, only twice has a cleaner been down our alley.

Also I told them that two bins had been left in such a state that there is no way the binmen would have collected them anyway, I was told that the issue would be sorted by Friday.

By 3.30pm on Friday no action had been taken so I phoned them back and was told that it would be dealt with on Monday and that there was no reported reason why my bin had not been emptied in the first place.

On Monday somebody came and took the two bins I had reported but again not mine, so I phoned again and was told that there was no reason why my bin had not been emptied.

Why are these people being payed for a service they are not doing?

It’s a waste of good tax payers money. Yours and mine.
