'Pee pods' are unacceptable
11/ 4/2008
WHEN did it become acceptable for grown men to relieve themselves in the streets?
The fact that these urinals have been put here without bothering to consult residents implies a level of acceptance that astonishes me.
I was under the impression that it was an offence to expose oneself in public – when was the law changed? I live less than 20 metres from these urinals and there are always young children playing around this area because it is, in essence, a cul-de-sac.
There are two public houses and a public toilet less than 150 metres from here and I believe there are facilities in the ground itself. Surely grown men can manage to contain themselves until they get there.
