My gratitude for LCCC support

On behalf of all at Lancashire County Cricket Club, I would like to thank the general public of Trafford and Greater Manchester, as well as cricket fans from around the world, who have written to Trafford Council to support our plans to redevelop Old Trafford and bring back the Ashes.


Where’s the help for pensioners?

No child faced school trip ban

I would suggest that Beverley Hughes MP gets her facts straight before commenting upon the issue of trips for Trafford’s school children.


Only the posh areas got grit

On Tuesday, December 22, The BBC’s North West news programme televised an item in which residents throughout the area complained at the various councils’ laziness to grit our snowbound roads. All, that is, EXCEPT for Trafford.

Cold snap hit business hard

Would like to comment on the council’s performance during this recent cold spell.
