FORMERLY the country's biggest weekly free newspaper, we've changed the emphasis and name so that it becomes a truly local paper for the borough of Trafford.

Now called the Trafford Metro News, we'll be bringing you plenty of local news and views.

From Hale Barns to Stretford, Urmston to Timperley, if there's any issue that you think deserves to be featured in the paper, then let us know. We want to hear from you!

Our columnist Richard Butt has moved from the news pages to the magazine, but is still bringing our readers his view on the world - If you agree with him (or don't agree with him!) why not write a letter to the letters page and tell us what you think?

And the back pages are filled with all the latest Trafford sports news - we want to hear about YOUR team's success stories, YOUR club's results and YOUR match reports. Email them in to us every week so we can put them on our sports pages.

As well as all the latest local news and views, you'll still be able to catch up on the latest entertainment and what's on guide with the metromagazine. Inside the magazine you'll find a useful round-up of what to see and do in Manchester for the week ahead.
