Railing against petty officials

28/ 3/2008

WHAT do you call a company that forces hard-working television reporters off its land when they’re talking to camera and that delays thousands of its customers routinely?

National Rail.

I’ve bleated on before about prats in hats who’ve got a Napoleon complex.

I knew that we weren’t allowed on the station itself. So I talked about railway delays outside.

But I was, apparently, still on railway station land… just.

I was made to move about three feet so I’d be on the pavement.

Nice to know that Network Rail is working in exactly the areas it should be to ensure that trains run on time, isn’t it?
